It is used in dogs and cats for the treatment and control of parasitic infections of mature and larval forms of Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Hydatigena (Taenia) taeniaeformis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia ovis, Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides sp. and Joyeuxiella pasqualei.
